WCCO-TV's Don Shelby to announce retirement

Longtime WCCO-TV anchor and reporter Don Shelby will announce his plans for retirement, according to the television station.
A press conference is planned for tomorrow morning to provide more information. The station has not yet stated when Shelby will retire or his reasons for doing so.
The newscaster has been with WCCO-TV since 1978, and was inducted into the Minnesota Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 2007.
Shelby has won several awards for his work, including three national Emmys.
