New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman has won three Pulitzer prizes for his reporting on foreign affairs, and is well known for best sellers like the World is Flat. But he's taking a more inward look in his latest book,"That Used to Be Us: How America Fell Behind in the World It Invented and How We Can Come Back."
Friedman speaks with MPR to talk about his new book, which was co-written by John Hopkins professor Michael Mandelbaum.
