The Twin Cities' newest light rail line opened last month to much fanfare and interest, but also some criticism over the length of time it takes for trains to travel the 11 miles from downtown Minneapolis to downtown St. Paul.
Metro Transit, which operates the new Green Line, has said it continues to tweak operations and details including how traffic signals are timed, in an effort to lower the travel time.
We get an update from Metro Transit on those efforts, and also discuss what the agency has learned after one month of operating the nearly $1 billion line.
