The city of Minneapolis has temporarily shut down a downtown Minneapolis bar following a shooting last night that injured 9 people.
Minneapolis assistant police chief Matt Clark said two people at the 400 Soundbar who were seriously injured are now in stable condition. Clark says police need the public's help to solve the crime.
"We know that there was one victim that we believe was specifically targeted based on information we have at this point. But we want many more witnesses to come forward and fill in some of the blanks," he said.
"We know that this shooting was gang-related, and it was, again, very specific to the individual, and so that's why we're saying it's an isolated incident and not a random act."
One of the injured is Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Linval Joseph. A statement released by the Vikings said Joseph was an innocent bystander and suffered a minor injury when a stray bullet struck his leg.
