Kerri's book pick this week is "Longbourn" by Jo Baker.

The story is set in the household of the Bennets, the central family of Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice."

"Longbourn," however, focuses on the lives of the family's servants, particularly the young housemaid Sarah, who experiences her own heartaches and romance.

Readers get snatches of the familiar Austen story woven throughout "Longbourn" — Sarah, for instance, has her own run-ins with the infamous Mr. Wickham, familiar to Austen fans — but they're seen through the eyes of the housemaids, cook and butler serving the Bennet family.
