Police have arrested a 19-year-old suspect in connection with the shooting death of a man outside a Maplewood liquor store Saturday night.
Authorities say 25-year-old Terrence Jermaine Woods died at Regions Hospital after suffering a gunshot wound to the chest.
Police chief Paul Schnell said Woods was with two other men outside Merwin Liquors when another group fired shots at them from a car.
Police are looking for additional suspects who were in the vehicle with the alleged shooter.
"Investigators are actively pursuing leads with regard to their identity and/or location. And we have recovered a good deal of evidence that's being processed with the assistance of the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension," Schnell said.
Another man was shot and wounded, and a third man who was with the victims was able to escape uninjured.
The chief said police will present the case to Ramsey County prosecutors Monday.
