Long before there were plans to build a Guthrie Theater, there was a rustic, wood-sided theater near the shores of lake Minnetonka called The Old Log Theater. Its owner, Don Stolz, was considered the godfather of the Twin Cities theater scene.
Stolz was a part of the Old Log for over 70 years and died on Saturday at the age of 97. Listen to the audio to hear Cathy Wurzer's remembrance.
