Start loosening those waistbands — the Minnesota State Fair has unveiled 40 new foods and 11 new frozen treats for 2015.

Prepare to gorge on burger dogs (a blend of hamburger, hot dog, bacon, cheese and jalapeno on a hog dog bun), tipsy pies (hand pies made with beer and liquor), mac and cheese cupcakes and caramel chocolate-dipped bacon ice cream bars.

Feeling more adventurous? You can try the BBQ pickle ice cream or hot tail (roasted pig tail coated in a scallion ginger sauce).

And what would be the fair without more food on a stick? This year's newest offerings include the stuffed Italian meatloaf-on-a-stick and tikka-on-a-stikka.

Butter queen coffee ice cream
Head to the Hamline Church Dining Hall for the butter queen coffee ice cream — chocolate espresso flakes blended into browned butter and coffee ice cream.

Butter chicken samosas
Available Aug. 27-Sept. 1 only, the butter chicken samosa pastries are filled with chicken in a tomato curry sauce and served with a side of green chutney. Sweet summer vegetable samosas with corn, peas and onions are also available. These can be found at Hot Indian at the Taste of Midtown Global Market at the International Bazaar.

Chilled bread pudding
At the Blue Moon Dine-In Theater you can find chilled bread pudding: Custardy bread pudding baked and served sundae-style with a warm glaze/dunking sauce and a choice of crunchy "moon gravel" condiments.
