A woman was shot and killed in south Minneapolis on Tuesday evening.
Police were called to the intersection of East Lake Street and Park Avenue shortly before 7 p.m. on reports of a shooting. A woman at the scene had been shot multiple times and was in critical condition, according to police. The shooting victim was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment but later died.
