A man who was critically injured in a shooting this week in Minneapolis has now died. Police say the unidentified man died Friday night at North Memorial Medical Center.
The man was shot on Thursday afternoon while he was in a parked car on Lyndale Avenue North near 27th Avenue North. Three other people in the car, including an infant in a car seat, were not hurt. Police are searching for a suspect.
The shooting on Thursday was the fifth in a series of shootings across the Twin Cities in which someone was killed or injured.
Minneapolis police spokesman Jon Elder said police have allocated more resources since the shootings.
