Dan Pallotta, author and charity activist, recently spoke in Minneapolis about ways to re-energize nonprofits and how to attract top talent from the private sector.
MPR News host Kerri Miller led the conversation with Pallotta last month at the Minneapolis Foundation's Futurist Conference.
Pallotta's keynote speech during the conference focused on ways to make charities more efficient — and more rewarding for the people who lead them. He argued that non-profits need to take a page from the for-profit playbook if they're going prosper. The best way to start doing that, Pallotta said, was to focus on the money.
