Republican Donald Trump says he'd be "the greatest jobs president God ever created." But we haven't heard many specifics about how he'd do it. MPR News host Kerri Miller talked to two leading experts about how jobs are gained and lost in the modern economy and what power politicians actually have to put more Americans to work.
Kerri's guests were Matthew Slaughter, dean of the Tuck School at Dartmouth College and Willy Shih, Professor of Management Practice in Business Administration at The Harvard Business School and author of "Producing Prosperity: Why America Needs a Manufacturing Renaissance". They discussed the free trade agreements, industrial automation, minimum wage guarantees and more.
