Get ready to take a detour if you're traveling between Minneapolis and St. Paul this weekend.
Interstate 94 is closing between Minnesota Highway 280 and Snelling Avenue in St. Paul beginning at 8 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday, the Minnesota Department of Transportation said.
Crews will be demolishing the Prior Avenue bridge deck, which is being rebuilt this summer.
Motorists will be detoured to Highway 280, Minnesota Highway 36 and Interstate 35E.

Here's how the closure breaks down:
I-94 eastbound
• The interstate will be completely closed from Highway 280 to Snelling Avenue. Those coming from the west can exit I-94 onto Highway 280.
• Snelling Avenue to Dale Street will be down to one lane. Entrance and exit ramps will be open.
I-94 westbound
• Motorists will not be able to get on I-94 between I-35E and Cretin Avenue.
• For vehicles traveling from east of I-35E, one lane will be open between Dale Street and Snelling Avenue.
• One lane will be open from Cretin Avenue to Highway 280.
