In February we asked listeners to tell us what books they've lied about reading for our Thread Question of the Week.

We were overwhelmed with calls from people who still feel guilty about skipping Moby Dick and others who refuse to admit that they haven't finished the Harry Potter series in front of their friends.

To kick off our "Take it to the Lake" summer fiction series, MPR News Host Kerri Miller asked three local readers what books they lie about reading.
