There's no easy way to say this: It's going to be messy this weekend for motorists in the Twin Cities.
So take a deep breath, maybe scream a little or shake your fist at your computer and read on for a glimpse of this weekend's traffic conditions.

From 10 p.m. Friday to 10 p.m. Saturday, northbound Hwy. 100 between Minnesota Highway 62 and Interstate 394 will be closed.
Heads up: On Aug. 12-13, the southbound portion will close.
Minnesota Highway 280, St. Paul and Lauderdale
Southbound Hwy. 280 between Broadway Street and Como Avenue goes down to a single lane beginning at 3 p.m. Friday for resurfacing.
That's just a preview of the bigger headache that begins at 10 p.m. Friday, when southbound Hwy. 280 closes between Interstate 35W and Como Avenue.
The road will reopen at 5 a.m. Monday.
Another heads up: Northbound Hwy. 280 will close for resurfacing between Broadway Street and Como Avenue next weekend.
Interstate 35E, St. Paul
Beginning at 10 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday, I-35E will be closed in both directions between Interstate 94 and Shepard Road.
Also, from 10 p.m. Friday through noon Saturday, northbound I-35E will close between Minnesota Highway 110 and Shepard Road.
