The votes of 14 more states — and one territory — are in after Super Tuesday. The day was a big moment for the remaining Democratic presidential candidates, with more than 1,300 delegates at stake.

Sen. Bernie Sanders won California’s primary, along with Vermont, Utah and Colorado. Meanwhile, former Vice President Joe Biden saw a rebound after low support in the earlier nominating contests. Biden carried 10 states, including Texas, North Carolina and Minnesota.

MPR News host Kerri Miller talked with two political scientists from Minnesota and Arkansas about the outcome of Super Tuesday; what issues voters are thinking about; and what’s ahead as the remaining Democratic contenders move toward the convention in July.
