Later this year, you can expect to see hearing aids that can be purchased in stores without consulting a doctor. This is one of the latest changes in what is available for people experiencing hearing loss. In addition, custom-made hearing aids now include Bluetooth technology, which allows them to connect with a smartphone and other devices. On today’s program we will talk to an audiologist and an ear, nose and throat doctor about what causes hearing loss and what treatments are available.
