Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the United States are on the rise, and the country continues to have the highest number of confirmed cases in the world. Meanwhile, researchers and medical professionals here and abroad carry on in their quest to provide care, find effective treatment and ultimately devise a vaccine.

At 9 a.m. Monday, MPR News host Kerri Miller spoke with two researchers about the latest on the novel coronavirus.
