More than 350,000 Minnesotans have tested positive for COVID-19 so far.

Over the past week, COVID deaths in the state since the pandemic began topped 4,000.

Right now the disease is linked to about one-third of all deaths across the state.

Every Monday, MPR News host Kerri Miller speaks with scientists, public health officials and physicians about the latest on COVID-19 throughout the country and the state.

This week, Miller spoke with Michael Osterholm from the University of Minnesota about what we can glean from the latest data on the novel coronavirus and what the timeline looks like for a COVID-19 vaccine.
