House DFL lawmakers announce legislation on no-knock warrants

DFL lawmakers in the Minnesota House on Tuesday announced legislation that would limit the broad use of no-knock warrants by police in Minnesota. The move follows the police killing of Amir Locke during a SWAT team raid last weekend at a Minneapolis apartment.

Rep. Esther Agbaje, DFL-Minneapolis, lives in the building where Locke was killed and is among those calling for changes. She joined host Cathy Wurzer to talk about the legislation and how the events of the past week have affected her. Theme music by Gary Meister.
