When Tom Gitaa moved from Kenya to Minnesota for college, he planned on returning home. Instead he founded a digest of news from Africa he called Mshale. Twenty-five years later, Mshale is Minnesota’s longest running newspaper serving African immigrants. Tom Gitaa joined host Cathy Wurzer to talk about his work and the impact his publication has had on Africans in Minnesota.
