Lane closures are in place along a stretch of Interstate 494 in the southern Twin Cities metro area. The freeway is down to two lanes in each direction across the Minnesota River near the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. The closures will remain in place through late October.
And hours after unionized education support professionals in Minneapolis Public Schools filed a notice to strike later this month, leaders from both the union and district announced they’d reached a deal.
