A lawsuit filed Tuesday in federal court claims that in 2020, then-Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin and a partner used excessive force which included Chauvin allegedly placing his knee on a woman's back during an arrest.
And protesters seeking to have the state of Minnesota end investments in Israeli companies and weapons manufacturers had a chance to directly address the state’s top elected officials Tuesday.
