The Timberwolves forced Game 5 of the NBA’s Western Conference playoff series after they beat the Dallas Mavericks Tuesday night 105-100. Game 5 of the best-of-seven series is Thursday night in Minneapolis.
And Minnesota plays Boston Wednesday night for the championship of the Professional Women’s Hockey League. Boston won Game 4 to force a fifth and deciding game Wednesday night. The winner will be the inaugural Walter Cup champion. The game starts at 6 p.m. and is streaming on YouTube.
