We now know the names that will appear on November’s general election ballot after Tuesday’s primary elections. Incumbent Sen. Amy Klobuchar easily defeated Democratic challengers and will face Republican Royce White.
In congressional races, Minneapolis-area Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar survived a challenge from Don Samuels. And Republican Rep. Michelle Fishbach turned back a challenge from Steve Boyd.
Gov. Tim Walz, the Democratic candidate for vice president, yesterday responded to claims he lied about his service in the the Army National Guard. Campaigning for Kamala Harris in Los Angeles, Walz told union workers he was proud to have served 24 years.
