Minneapolis establishes more transparency of off-duty police work. Lynx face a must-win finals game in order to continue

The Minneapolis City Council has passed measures intended to boost transparency of off-duty police work. Those are the side gigs police can take while in uniform and using city resources like squad cars, but they get paid by private entities. The council voted for a fee study on all associated costs.

And the Minnesota Lynx have a must-win game Friday night in Minneapolis in their quest for a fifth WNBA title. The New York Liberty lead the Lynx in the best-of-five series 2-1. Tipoff is at Target Center at 7 p.m.
