One person is dead, another is injured and a suspect is in custody after a series of shootings and gunfire Tuesday that started in Minneapolis and ended near Willmar. Authorities say it started early Tuesday afternoon when the suspect reportedly shot at his former girlfriend at an apartment building on Lyndale Avenue South. The suspect fled and later wounded a man at a home in rural Kandiyohi County. The suspect then fatally shot a driver during an attempted carjacking near Willmar. The suspect was apprehended soon after.
And Twin Cities celebrity chef Justin Sutherland faces sentencing in December after admitting he threatened to shoot his girlfriend.
