The Democratic incumbent in a Shakopee-area legislative race is the likely winner after a recount Thursday. Rep. Brad Tabke led his Republican challenger, Aaron Paul, by 15 votes.
And after three days of testimony, a federal human smuggling trial is drawing to a close in Fergus Falls. The jury will receive final instructions before beginning deliberations Friday.
