Welcome to our new site! We’ve redesigned mprnews.org to make the site more nourishing and to surface more fascinating stories from Minnesota and beyond. All of the great reporting, audio programs and local news you rely on are still here — they may just look a little different!
So, what’s new?
New look and feel: Our new design is bright, modern and better showcases all Minnesota communities, making it an easier and more welcoming place to stay informed about everything happening in Minnesota.
More stories front and center: The biggest changes to the site have taken place on the homepage, where we’ve surfaced new content areas, highlighted breaking news and created more space for stories that focus on Minnesotans from all walks of life.
New and improved weather page: The weather page has lots of new bells and whistles including more detailed forecasts, live radar and an hour-by-hour weather visualization to help you plan your day. You can still find the detailed breakdown, insights and analysis from your favorite meteorologists at the Updraft blog.
Create an account: You can now create an account with MPR News to save stories and follow your favorite shows. If you already have an account with The Current or YourClassical, your same log in details will work here. We’ll be rolling out more account features in the near future — so stay tuned!
