
Meet Mark Zdechlik
Mark Zdechlik is a correspondent for MPR News and has worked at MPR News for nearly 40 years.
As part of the MPR News politics team, Mark spends a lot of time tracking politicians and talking to voters about what's important to them. His goal in his reporting is to provide factual information so the people reading and hearing his work can make informed decisions.
Over his many years at MPR, Mark's work has been recognized with numerous regional and national awards, including a National Headliner Award, multiple Minnesota Society of Professional Journalists Page One Awards and the Minnesota Education Association School Bell Award.
Mark has a bachelor’s degree from St. John's University.
