Meet Terrence Fraser
Terrence is a data journalist and digital specialist with APM Research Lab.
Terrence is based in Brooklyn, NY. Prior to joining the Lab (part of MPR’s parent organization, American Public Media Group), he worked for VICE Media, The Marshall Project, ProPublica and The Associated Press. At VICE, he reported on protests and the environment and conducted research for the documentary team. As a fact-check reporter with the AP, he dispelled COVID-19 misinformation spreading online.
Terrence received a B.A. in Politics and a certificate in African American Studies from Princeton University. He recently earned his M.A. from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, where he focused on data and economic reporting, investigations and community-driven journalism.
