A strong job market is predicted for the fourth quarter of 2006 across most of Minnesota. The latest Manpower Employment Outlook Survey shows a large number of employers plan to hire more workers.
Manpower spokeswoman Michele Lindberg says the company's survey shows that statewide about 20 percent of employers will increase the size of their workforce, with even more hiring in the Twin Cities, Rochester and St. Cloud areas.
Lindberg says the survey predicts weaker hiring in Alexandria and Duluth.
Nationwide, the employment services company says 28 percent of employers expect to add to their payrolls during the fourth quarter, while just eight percent expect to reduce staff levels.
