'Mr. Mark' Thompson from Como Park Elementary in St. Paul was named one of this year's "American Stars of Teaching" by the U.S. Department of Education for his work with Hmong English Language Learner students. The award specially recognizes one teacher from each state and the District of Columbia who achieve goals set by the federal No Child Left Behind Act. MPR's Perry Finelli spoke with Mr. Mark Thompson.
