Adam Levy is known for writing music with a social conscience. On Midmoring, he talked with Kerri Miller about how his experiences as a social worker have informed his songwriting, and he's joined by his band the Honeydogs to play songs from their new album, Amygdala
The amygdala is the part of the brain which controls fear, and later in the day the band met with Steve Seel of the Current and discussed how most of these new songs deal with that emotion.
The CD is out now locally and will be released nationally in January of 2007.
Songs performed in the Current studios: "Rattling My Tin Cup," "Belle Epoque," and "Truth Serum."
