We now have a picture of what the new Minnesota Twins baseball stadium will look like. Artist renderings of the 40,000 seat, open-air stadium have been released, and the ground may break on the site as early as May.
The ballpark will be squeezed on eight acres in downtown Minneapolis, and designers say it will be both roomy and intimate for fans who want to catch a game.

Bess is a professor of architecture at the University of Notre Dame, and consulted on earlier proposals for a Twins ballpark. He gives the design mixed reviews.
