The Minnesota Department of Transportation is closing a section of Interstate Hwy. 35W.
The piece of road that's closing is in Minneapolis and stretches from Hwy. 94 in the north down to where 35 meets up with Crosstown Hwy. 62. The closure is part of a major project to re-work the Crosstown Commons.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer talked with Judy Melander of MnDOT about the construction plan and what it will mean for drivers.
