Macalester College in St. Paul is honoring a former football coach that made history. Don Hudson was the nation's first black head football coach at a predominently white college when he led the Macalester team from 1971-1975.
The school is marking the milestone during half-time of this Saturday's game against Colorado College.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Hudson about his coaching career.
