The University of Minnesota will open its latest, state-of-the-art research facility next Monday. The $14 million Leatherdale Equine Center will be equipped with high-tech diagnostic and rehabilitative equipment for horses.
Dr. Stephanie Valberg spoke with All Things Considered host Tom Crann to explain why the University needs a new facility for veterinary horse medicine. Dr. Valberg is the Director of the University of Minnesota Leatherdale Equine Center.
