Minnesota Vikings rookie running back Adrian Peterson now holds the team record for rushing yards in a single game -- 224 -- breaking a mark that Chuck Foreman held for 30 years.
Peterson set that mark during a remarkable performance Sunday against the Bears at Soldier Field in Chicago.
During his electrifying performance, the Minnesota Vikings' rookie had three TD runs and set up Ryan Longwell's final-play, 55-yard field goal with a long kickoff return to lead a 34-31 Minnesota victory.
For place-kicker Ryan Longwell, it was the longest field goal of his career.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer talked with Sean Jensen, who covers the Vikings for the St. Pioneer Press.
