One place people have always turned for candidate information in an election year is comedians. Late-night TV comedians have been making fun of all the presidential candidates for months. One of them, Comedy Central's Steven Colbert even tried to enter the race.
There's a long tradition of political satire in the U.S. Caleb McEwen is one of the comedians continuing that tradition in Minnesota. He's the artistic director and a frequent cast member at the Brave New Workshop in Minneapolis. His comedy troupe always presents a healthy dose of political comedy in an election year.
McEwen spoke with host Tom Crann as part of All Things Considered's look ahead to the next 12 months of political campaigning.
