Alcohol was suspected when the body of Tony Lee Miller was found in his apartment last month in North Mankato.
Further testing confirms it. Miller had a blood-alcohol level of 0.435 at the time of his death, more than five times the legal limit for intoxication.
The coroner says Miller's death was accidental. Police say there was no evidence to warrant any criminal charges.
The manager of the apartment building where Miller lived said Miller was unemployed at the time of his death. The manager said Miller, who was a paraplegic, had been living in one of building's handicapped-accessible units for about 2½ years.
Miller's death follows that of Minnesota State University, Mankato student Amanda Jax, who died last fall after heavy drinking on her 21st birthday.
