Adrian Peterson of the Vikings and Terrell Owens of Dallas each accounted for two touchdowns as the NFC outscored the AFC 42-30 at the Pro Bowl in Honolulu.
Peterson earned game MVP honors after becoming the first player to run for more than 100 yards in a Pro Bowl since Marshall Faulk and Chris Warren in 1995. The Minnesota running back had 16 carries for 129 yards and scored twice as the NFC rallied from a 24-7 deficit.
Peterson was so dominant that the NFC's other two running backs didn't have half as many carries as the Offensive Rookie of the Year. Dallas running back Marion Barber ran six times for 37 yards and Philadelphia's Brian Westbrook had one carry for 4 yards.
T.J. Houshmandzadeh caught touchdown passes from Peyton Manning and Ben Roethlisberger for the AFC.
