In honor of the 67th birthday of its most famous former resident, Hibbing celebrates "Dylan Days" this weekend.
One of the people who will be in Hibbing for the festivities is writer Toby Thompson, author of "Positively Main Street."
Thompson first traveled to Hibbing in 1968 to report on the early years of Bob Dylan's life. That led to the publication of "Positively Main Street" in 1971.
It was one of the first biographies of the iconic singer, but it has been out of print for over 30 years. A new edition of the book is being published this year by the University of Minnesota Press.
Thompson spoke with Minnesota Public Radio's Jim Bickal.
