Political types were busy today speculating again whether former Gov. Jesse Ventura will enter the race for U.S. Senate.
The question came to the forefront after a story on National Public Radio that hinted Ventura had all but made up his mind to run.
Ventura later denied that he had made up his mind, and said he won't do so until the filing deadline, which is Tuesday July 15. If he enters the race, he would run against incumbent Republican Sen. Norm Coleman and DFLer Al Franken.
MPR political correspondent Mark Zdechlik talked with All Things Considered host Tom Crann to sort out the rumor from the fact.
