Recent reports of patients being abused at two Minnesota nursing homes have raised concerns about the potential for abuse at other care facilities.
Two cases, one in Montevideo and the other in Albert Lea, have angered and worried many who have loved ones in nursing homes.
The Minnesota Department of Health monitors the conditions at approximately 400 nursing homes in the state. The person in charge of that monitoring is Darcy Miner. She spoke with Minnesota Public Radio's Cathy Wurzer.
