Each week Minnesota Public Radio News asks three people from the Minnesota arts scene to be "Art Hounds." Their job is to step outside our own work and hunt down something exciting that's going on this weekend.
This week's Art Hounds include:
Nahid Khan is on the board of Mizna, A Twin Cities-based literary and arts organization that focuses on Arab American culture. Khan went to see "Ching Chong Chinaman," a production of Mu Performing Arts, which is on stage at Mixed Blood Theater through March 1.

Kimberly Tschida Petters is a visual artist and director of the Rosalux Gallery in Minneapolis. Tschida Petters is looking forward to the Bird x Bird exhibition and silent auction at the Northrup King Building in Northeast Minneapolis on Saturday, February 21, from six to nine.

Shannon Wettstein is a member of the St. Paul new music ensemble Zeitgeist, and a piano professor at Augsburg College. Wettstein plans to immerse herself in the University of Minnesota-sponsored Spark Festival of Electronic Music and Art, which runs through Sunday, February 22, at several venues in Minneapolis.
