Gwen Ifill, moderator and managing editor for PBS' "Washington Week," and senior correspondent for "The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer," discusses politics and race in the age of Obama.
During the 2008 campaign, Ifill moderated the vice presidential debate between Joe Biden and Sarah Palin.
Before moving to PBS, she worked for NBC News as chief congressional and political correspondent. She has reported for "The New York Times," "Washington Post," and "Baltimore Evening Sun."
Ifill is the author of the book "The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama."
