Fox says Mexico has flu under control

Former Mexican President Vicente Fox says his country's measures to contain swine flu seem to be working.

Fox appeared Friday on Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty's weekly radio show on WCCO-AM.

Fox says President Felipe Calderon and other authorities are doing a "great job." He says the situation "seems to be well under their control up to now."

The ex-president says shutting down most activities is slowing the flu's spread.

Fox said, "No schools, no factories, no theaters, no vacations, no nothing. Everybody's at home taking care of themselves."
