The Minnesota Department of Health has identified two new probable cases of the H1N1 influenza virus in the state. Both of the cases involved Southwest High School in Minneapolis.
The school will remain open.
Minnesota now has one confirmed case and 11 probable cases. More tests are necessary to see whether the probable cases are in fact swine flu.
Health officials earlier this week backed away from recommending that schools with swine flu cases be closed, saying the virus was acting like ordinary seasonal flu.
