A little 19th Century limestone church near Kenyon is slowly coming back to life. The Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis boarded up St. Rose of Lima in 1961, and there it sat unused for nearly 50 years. But a special mass will be held at St. Rose today. There was one last year, too, thanks in part to community volunteer Jill Palof.
Cathy Wurzer spoke with her in 2008.
